Join the Lodestar beta
Daily sleep, recovery, effort and stress scores from the Fitbit you already wear, each compared with your own normal and worked out on your iPhone. Free, and it takes about two minutes to set up.
On a computer? Open lodestarhealth.app/beta on your iPhone to join.
What you get
- Five daily scores: Sleep, Recovery, Effort, Stress and Energy, each measured against your own baseline rather than population averages.
- What Moved This Score: tap any score to see every input and how many points it added or took away.
- Sleep need and sleep debt, with how much sleep tonight would help you catch up.
- Vitals and alerts when your overnight breathing rate, temperature or heart signals drift from your usual range.
- Trends and widgets, from a week to a year, on your Home Screen.
What you need
- An iPhone running iOS 17 or later.
- A Fitbit that syncs to your Google account. Overnight HRV makes the Recovery score much better, and most recent Fitbits record it.
How to join
- Tap Join the iPhone Beta on your iPhone. It opens Apple's TestFlight, the official app for trying apps before they reach the App Store.
- Install TestFlight if you don't have it, then install Lodestar.
- Open Lodestar and connect Google Health with read-only access. Your history imports, and your first scores appear in a few minutes.
Private by design
Lodestar reads your Fitbit data from Google Health with read-only access and works out every score on your iPhone. Your health data never goes to a Lodestar server, and nothing is sold or shared. Read the Privacy Policy for the details.
